Autobot
Robot Mode
The Autobot action figures are very accurately detailed both at around 13 inches tall. The action figures are of a high standard with about 30 movable joints resulting in a much more enjoyable experience. The Bumblebee action figure has a slight edge over the Jazz action figure due to the inclusion of a plasma cannon which could fire a plasma pulse and a sliding battle mask.
Vehicle Mode
Jazz and Bumblebee both transform into cars, Jazz being a silver Pontiac and Bumblebee being a yellow Camaro. The transforming process is slightly complex at first but would be a breeze upon continuous attempts. But the hard work pays off as the end product results in a highly detailed, 7.5 inch long car with a classy interior including a steering wheel and two seats which could be occupied by two human companions.
Human Companion
The Sam Witwicky and Captain Lennox action figures stand tall at 6cm are an added bonus. These action figures have the ability to ride on the arm or the shoulder of their Autobot companion in robot mode or occupy one of the two seats in vehicle mode. In addition to that, the human action figures are able to wield guns. Captain Lennox gains a small advantage over Sam Witwicky with the inclusion of his motorcycle.This motorcycle can be transformed into a shielded gun which can be fixed onto the Jazz robot action figure and can be manned by Captain Lennox. Additional human companion action figures are sold separately.
Conclusion
It's clear that both have their own advantages and disadvantages over the other but both sets come at a reasonable price of .99. This would be a fitting gift for children above 5 or for the most avid of collectors.
The Bumblebee, Sam Witwicky duo has a slightly more detailed robot action figure, where Bumblebee comes with a flip-out cannon and sliding battle mask. ORDER IT NOW!!!
